Fire up Mary is a four piece folk/acoustic band from Sussex in the South of England. We focus mainly on original material and arrangements of traditional songs from all around Britain.

Rosie Hodgson, our vocalist and songwriter, has been writing folk music for a number of years now. The band formed in early 2009 and we now have our

First EP “Tracks” . New samples of songs from the EP are on the Media page. We hope to implement the online sales page shortly.

Additionally, we will be gigging around Sussex, Surrey and Hampshire over the coming months. Please see the diary page for details.
